United Fighting Federation Presents ‘UFF 5 – Resurrection’ January 29, 2011 7:00pm at the Stiefel Theatre

‘UFF 5 – Resurrection’ will kick off the first of several mixed martial arts events hosted by the United Fighting Federation.  MMA, the most combative of all fighting sports,  is the fastest growing sport in the world today, combining striking and grappling from the standing position as well as on the ground.

The UFF will feature both local and national fighters.  Local fighters will match up against fighters from Pennsylvania, Nevada, Missouri, Illinois and Florida.  Each fighter is assigned to compete in their appropriate weight class; Featherweight, Bantamweight, Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight.  All bouts are three rounds and three minutes in duration.

The event will be held at the Stiefel Theatre 151 S. Santa Fe, Salina, KS.   Doors open at 6:00 pm and the event kicks off at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $25, $35, and $45.  Tickets may be purchased online at theuff.com, stiefeltheatre.org, ticketmaster.com, or at the House of Sight and Sound.  Sponsorship packages are available for this event as well as future events.

The United Fighting Federation is a Kansas based company providing professionally produced Mixed Martial Arts shows throughout the Midwest and nation.  This organization is the stepping stone for future stars of The UFC and Strikeforce.
