SALINA, KAN.— Salina Symphony Christmas Festival concert goers will be invited to take part in the Symphony Guild’s new and exciting “Gift Boxes Galore” fundraiser Dec. 18 & 19. For a suggested donation of $40, patrons will have the opportunity to select a beautifully wrapped box containing one or more “surprise” decorative items from The Market Shop.
To add to the excitement, one of the boxes (per concert) will contain a $200 gift certificate to The Market Shop, Salina’s finest gift and home accent store.
“We are thrilled to be able to provide this exciting opportunity for Symphony patrons to take home a ‘surprise’ gift while at the same time supporting our young musicians,” said Dena Berquist, Guild President. “We’re also excited that two lucky symphonic music lovers will take home a $200 gift certificate to The Market Shop!”
The “Gift Boxes Galore” table will be open in the Watson Room one hour prior to each concert, during intermission and following the performance (while supplies last!). Proceeds will benefit the Guild’s Youth Symphony Summer Music Camp Scholarship Fund.
Tickets to the Christmas Festival Concert, held Dec. 18 at 7:00 p.m. and Dec. 19 at 4:00 p.m., may be purchased at the Stiefel Theatre Box Office, by calling 785-827-1998 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Single admission is $22 for adults and $12 for students.
