On January 9, 2011, at approximately 1:50 a.m., officers of the Salina Police Department responded to a report of a person unconscious in a driveway in the 300 block of Tulane.  Robert Unselt, 48, was located; officers discovered Mr. Unselt was suffering from a fractured skull.  He later died at the Salina Regional Heath Center.

Witnesses reported Mr. Unselt was involved in some type of disturbance with three subjects at about the time he was injured.  Two of the three were wearing dark clothing and the third was wearing a white hoodie or puffy coat.  They were last seen on Tulane, south bound on foot.

The Salina Police Department is attempting to interview these three witnesses and would like them to contact this department.
