LINSDBORG, KAN. —Singers of all voice ranges are invited to join the chorus for Bethany College’s Messiah Festival of the Arts beginning in March. Singers should be 16 years old by April 1 to be eligible to join. New singers should arrive on Sunday, February 13, at 2 p.m. in Presser Hall for vocal placement. No prepared song is necessary. The first rehearsal will proceed at 3 p.m. Regular rehearsals will be Tuesdays from 7 – 9 p.m. and Sundays from 3 – 5 p.m.
The Bethany Oratorio Society chorus will perform Handel’s “Messiah” on Palm and Easter Sundays, April 17 and April 24, at 3 p.m. Bach’s “St. Matthew’s Passion” will be performed on Good Friday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets can also be purchased online or in person at Presser Hall Box Office on Bethany’s campus, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. High school tickets are free. Tickets for college students and immediate family members of high school student attendees are $5. Senior citizens and groups may receive discounts by calling in their ticket orders.
