February 2, 2011 – Local and regional writers of poetry and prose are invited to share their work during the quarterly “Open Mic for Writers” at the Salina Public on Tuesday, February 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The readings will take place in the Prescott Room on the library’s lower level.
Writers of original poems, fiction, plays or nonfiction may sign up to share five to 10 minutes of their work on a first-come, first-served basis when doors open at 6:45 p.m. There will be a limit of 15 writers. Listeners also are welcome.
The event is free and open to the public.
