K-STATE SALINA TO HOST STATE MATHCOUNTS COMPETITION
SALINA — Kansas State University at Salina will host the MATHCOUNTS state competition on Friday, March 5. The competition will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the College Center Conference Room.
The competition features the top three teams and top six individuals from each regional competition.
The 2011 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition is in Washington, D.C., in May.
MATHCOUNTS competitions are part of a national program. The local competition is run by volunteers from the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers, Smoky Valley chapter.
