LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) – Everywhere he looks, Kansas coach Bill Self sees nothing but question marks.
Why did his Jayhawks, with the nation’s best shooting percentage, have their worst shooting day of the season in a stunning loss on Sunday to VCU?
How come his teams are 6-1 in the Sweet 16 but only 1-5 in the Elite Eight?
Will Marcus and Markieff Morris head to the NBA? Or will the close-knit twins who can hardly stand the thought of being separated decide to stick around for their senior seasons? And how about Tyshawn Taylor and Thomas Robinson?
If any or all do leave school early, how will Self fill the void? Will he get the eye-popping recruiting class to keep the Jayhawks among the nation’s top programs?
