OLATHE, Kan. (AP) – Olathe police fatally shot a young man after responding to a disturbance at a home.

Spokesman John Roland says when officers arrived at the home Tuesday night, they heard a disturbance inside. When they entered the home, they were confronted by an armed young adult male. An officer shot the man, who died at the scene.

Another man inside the home was treated for injuries he suffered before police arrived. No other details have been released.
