You are Responsible for the Loss of Liberty in the Republic

By Richard D. Fry

Yes YOU! Did you attend the Third Annual State Sovereignty Rally last January at the state capitol? Did you attend the “It’s not Yours to Give” budget Rally on April 28, 2011? Why not!?

If you do nothing, if you stay ignorant, if you sit on the sidelines or just attend the “social rallies” you are the single biggest contributor to the down fall of the Republic and the single biggest helper to those who want to end the American way of life! Your nonsense about the fact you have a job to go to and you have kids in college etc., etc., is all baloney so just save it for yourself.

There are others out there who have given up jobs or devote all their none working hours to the cause. They give vacation time, personal leave time and sick time to the cause. They and their families’ sacrifice. Others who find it more difficult to give time give money and talent to the cause. They get of their asses for America and the sake of Liberty, for their kids and grand kids, for the realized dream that is America! They write and call their legislators. They take the time to get informed. They send some gasoline money to those who travel the state and country to educate the masses, or for printing cost for flyers or room rental. They do research and other ministerial tasks they move things along.

You sit on your short sighted selfish ass and either pretend nothing is going on or there is nothing you can do about it. The roar of the masses is now too loud you cannot claim you do not know there is a problem in the Republic. A heavy dark cloud hangs over Liberty and you are part of that dark cloud.
I encourage you to reach deep within, find a bit of self respect and just a little bit of American attitude and do something to make a difference. No one can do everything but everyone can do something. We are not judged on whether we make a difference but if we tried to make a difference.

I leave you with the admonition that a few of mankind’s best minds and our fellow citizens have given use over the centuries:

Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you!
-Pericles (430 B.C.)

The penalty good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men”
–PLATO

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”
– Samuel Adams

A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.
– EDWARD R. MURROW

Thou shalt not be a victim. Thou shalt not be a perpetrator. Above all, thou shalt not be a bystander.
– HOLOCAUST MUSEUM, WASHINGTON, DC
“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.”….
– Albert Einstein

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
– Martin Luther King, Jr.

The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all.
– John F. Kennedy

Patriotism does not oblige us to acquiesce in the destruction of liberty. Patriotism obliges us to question it, at least.
