Stormy Thursday And Perhaps More Bumpy Weather Friday

Thunderstorms brought tornadoes and heavy rain to portions of central and north-central Kansas Thursday afternoon and evening.

There were reports of tornadoes in Russell and Lincoln Counties, and nearly 7 inches of rain fell in northwest Lincoln County. Flood warnings were in effect for portions of Russell Lincoln Ottawa and Cloud counties .

More thunderstorms are forecast for Friday, again some could be severe with the chance for large hail, damaging winds heavy rain and isolated tornadoes.
