JJUNCTION CITY, Kan. (AP) — Three people have been arrested after an explosive device was set off outside a Junction City bar.

Junction City police say the early Sunday explosion at Club Coyote caused some minor damage to a nearby vehicle and sent people running from the area.

When an officer arrived in the area, witnesses pointed out three men seen walking from the area and identified them as the ones who had set off the device.

Police say one of the men told police he might have more material at his home for making explosives. After obtaining a search warrant, police discovered suspected homemade “blasting caps” and one substance believed to be “very volatile.”

Law enforcement officers continued searching the home late Sunday afternoon. Police didn’t offer a possible motivation.
