The 2012 U.S. Cellular Grandstand lineup for this year’s Kansas State fair is taking shape with a great line up of country and old time rock including one of the most successful rock bands of the late 70′s.
Boston will headline the line up when they make an appearance on the first Saturday of the fair. The other big rock group on the list is Heart. Billy Currington with Jake Owen; Casting Crowns. The Oak Ridge Boys with Jimmy Fortune are also confirmed for performances during this year’s Fair, running Sept. 7-16. One more rock group will be announced in the coming weeks.
U.S. Cellular Grandstand concert tickets will go on sale May 19 at 8 a.m. and may be purchased at the Kansas State Fair ticket office, by calling 1-800-362-3247 or at www.kansasstatefair.tix.com. Unless otherwise noted, grandstand tickets include gate admission when purchased through August 24. For most concerts, the 2012 Kansas State Fair will feature a new premium seating area of approximately 160 seats.
Fans wanting a first chance at the best tickets for U.S. Cellular Grandstand concerts have the opportunity to join the Fair Fan Club. Members are qualified to purchase up to two tickets to all grandstand shows prior to the general public on-sale. Premier, reserved seating applies, as well as other benefits. Membership dues to the Fair Fan Club are $100 per year. Tickets will go on sale for Fair Fan Club members beginning at 8 a.m. on May 7.
