We are coming up on the real race for the leadership of the people (notice I did not say nation). Therefore, it is time for you to help your party come up with a party platform.

We know the usual party platform for both parties is no where near what they used to be. In order to be sure your party gets elected, you need to send them your needs, wants, and desires, for the next four years. Based upon the GOP primaries, the Democratic party responses to GOP claims and the media’s interpretation, I have come up with the things you can choose from to send to your party in order for them to come up with a winning platform. Thank you in advance for your participation.

THINGS IMPORTANT TO THE AMERICAN VOTER:

• Green energy, alternative fuel, saving the environment in Nebraska and Kansas from a pipeline spill
• Not only the right to choose if a woman uses contraceptives, but the right to have them provided free of charge (amendment to the Health Care Bill)
• No change to entitlements, regardless of the cost
• Higher taxes on the rich
• Reduction in the military force and nuclear weapons.
• Keeping the oil drilling ban on federal lands
• Unlimited Debt ceiling so we can continue to pass laws that support entitlements and control industries/businesses
• Unlimited unemployment payments and a raise in the minimum wage to $20 an hour.
• Limit of one privately owned handgun, and no right to a shotgun or rifle
• Discontinue manufacturing of automobiles that do not have partial electric drive power.
