Two Salina men have been arrested on charges of vehicle burglary, theft, and criminal use of a financial card.
Between June 25th and June 26th, 23-year-old Alexis Nelson reported to police that someone had gotten into her car while parked in the 2100 block of Meadowlark Lane and stole a bag that contained a couple of college text books, her wallet with a credit card inside, and a stethoscope.
The credit card had been used 4 times in Salina totaling $129. At one location where the credit card was used, employees remembered the car that the men were driving.
The victim was asked if she knew someone who had a similar car, and it matched the car of the newspaper carrier who delivers to her home.
Police arrested 23-year-old Robert Bray and 45-year-old Robert McClanahan.
