The Saline County Sheriff’s Office has cited a Brookville man for shooting a roman candle out the window of a pickup Thursday night June 28th.

22-year-old Chase Betzner was cited on Monday for discharging fireworks from the roadway.

Betzner was in the 1900 block of E. North Street when he shot the roman candle out of the pickup that caused a small fire in the ditch along the road around 10 pm on June 28th.

The fire was small, and was stomped out.
