1. To all of the people that are complaining either for or against the use of fireworks due to the heat and dryness: Be quiet! Or did you forget we are in Kansas? This is normal here. Summer/ hot and dry.

2. Can someone please post some of the businesses where the petition can be signed? too hot to search at the park!

3. Seriously, is there some scientific reason that storms always miss Salina? It happens nearly every single time one approaches.

4. I can’t believe with all of the problems with alcohol, the state is going to allow happy hour again. Here comes a spike in DUI’s.

5. Anybody taking bets on when the all-might city commissioners announce the ban on fireworks? My bet is this afternoon.

6. To all the idiots shooting off fireworks. You surely know that there is a huge risk of fire this year and it’s only been legal here for a year. So grow up and stop screwing up a good thing for the rest of us. On the 4th, go at it, have fun. Until then, knock it off.
