SOUND OFF

1. To the commissioners who pushed for legalization of fireworks: You will not get my support for any public office you may pursue in the future. Especially the commissioner(s) who operate and directly profit from fireworks stands.

2. The lifegaurds at kenwood cove are seriously rude something should be done about how they treat people

3. There was an editorial in the Journal today saying the Republicans don’t like Obama or Holder because they’re black.  It’s really getting old having to listen to that dribble.  They can’t defend his actions or policies so they say we’re racist.  That’s so not true.  Whether he was red, yellow, black or white, Obama would still be a failed president in the majority of American’s sight.

4. I just wanted to say thank you to the person that found my iPhone at StatCare and actually turned it in to the staff there. I definitely appreciate that and it’s good to see there are still honest people in the world.

5. Thanks, Arpke and Duncan, for making our neighborhoods sound like Little Beiruit. Our dog really enjoys your ahem, Patriotism.  Grrrrr. Take Brownbackistan, Heulskamp and the rest of the Tea Party nuts with you and leave the rest of us alone. Oh, and don’t forget to vote Brundgardt for Senate!

6. Why is the city allowing Dillons to build a superstore on Ohio only to close the Iron street and Crawford street dillons?  The north side of town already doesn’t have a grocery store, now they will be forced to drive to the south end. Where is the equal representation of all salina tax paying citizens?
