A Salina teen is in jail on charges of aggravated robbery and two counts of theft.
18-year-old Braydan Roger is alleged to have taken property belonging to 47-year-old Kimberly Erickson, from her home, while visiting Erickson and 52-year-old Steven Renken in the 2000-block of E. Gray Road, just northeast of Salina late Tuesday morning.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says that Roger was caught by Erickson stuffing costume jewelry in his pocket inside the house.
Erickson was struck twice by Roger as he was trying to leave the house.
Roger then left on a moped, but was arrested later at Chapel Ridge in Salina.
Items stolen included a woman’s diamond watch, jewelry, Xanax pills, a laptop computer, DVD’s and CD’s . Value of the stolen items placed at $1,719.
Most of the items Roger is alleged to have taken were recovered outside the house.
