The Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL) has finalized a game schedule for its inaugural season in 2013. The CPIFL will field ten teams that will participate in 60 regular season contests. Each team will play 12 games over a 14 week season. The CPIFL playoffs will consist of the teams with the top four records with the inaugural championship game taking place sometime on the weekend of June 21-23.
The season will open on Saturday, March 9 when Wichita travels to Tulsa to take on the Oklahoma Defenders in the first game in league history. The Salina Bombers will open their season the following week at home versus the Wichita Wild. The schedule features six home games for the Salina Bombers, including the first four games of the season.
