The Chiefs added another veteran candidate to become a starter at one of their inside linebacker positions when they agreed to contract terms with veteran Akeem Jordan, who played the last six seasons for Andy Reid with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs signed another candidate to become a starter last week when they acquired former Kansas State linebacker Zac Diles. Diles has been with four NFL teams, most recently the Tennessee Titans, in his career.
Pro Bowler Derrick Johnson is the other starting inside linebacker. One spot was left vacant when the Chiefs didn’t re-sign last year’s starter, Brandon Siler.
