Freeze Warning In Effect Tonight

FileA light Wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing drizzle will occur in Central Kansas this morning. Trace accumulations of snow or ice will be possible, which may make roads slick.

Freeze Warnings are in effect from late tonight til Friday Morning for SCALLOPED DARK BLUE AREAS. The record cold will prove lethal for all File-1outdoor plants & vegetation.

  • TODAY: Rain and sleet likely before 8am, then a chance of rain and snow between 8am and 2pm, then a chance of rain after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 41. Windy, with a northwest wind 22 to 27 mph increasing to 29 to 34 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • TONIGHT: A 30 percent chance of rain before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Windy, with a northwest wind 26 to 36 mph decreasing to 13 to 23 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 46 mph.
