Lawrence, KS. – Champions Indoor Football League teams now have a goal in mind when they start training camps in future seasons. The goal for every team in the league will be to play in Champions Bowl. Champions Bowl will feature the final two teams remaining in the playoffs each year with the winner being named CPIFL champion. Champions Bowl I will take place on June 22, 2013.

The CPIFL is also unveiling the Champions Bowl logo. The logo was created by Ashley Lawless, Assistant General Manager for the Wichita Wild. The logo is in a shield shape and features each of the states the CPIFL is in.

The CPIFL’s inaugural regular season will come to a close on June 8 with the first round of the playoffs occurring the following weekend. The top seed in the CPIFL playoffs hosts the 4th seed, while the second seed will host the third place team with the winners playing in Champions Bowl I.
