1. So my family is very upset with the Skyfire Music that was played this year.
You left some very important songs like “Proud to be an American” out.
2. I love watching everyone’s fireworks!! It would be nice if they would
light them from their own driveway as opposed to the city streets we are
driving down trying to avoid running them over!!!!
3. In Seattle, 2 street preachers held a sign that said “Repent Or Else” at a gay pride parade. They were subsequently attacked and beaten by a group that was tolerant of the homosexual lifestyle. Police arrived, and arrested those who committed the assault and they will be charged With a misdemeanor. My question is, why are the gay supporters not going to be charged with a hate crime for the hate they showed while beating up a man for simply expressing his First Amendment right?
4. I have a reading assignment for Salina. Please read the book “Starship
Troopers” by Robert A. Heinlein. Pay particular attention to chapter VI.
5. Thank god the stupid fireworks are done with!
6. Zimmerman trial is a farce. Only reason this even went to trial is because of the media hyping up some silly race issue. Which shows how stupid the American public is…Zimmerman isn’t even white!
7. Well I’m not much for Venezuela’s governing system but glad to see they granted asylum to Edward Snowden. Now hopefully we’ll hear more details about what our government is doing to us all.
