RUSSELL — A vehicle reported stolen from Mitchell County has been recovered in Russell County.

According to a Friday morning news release from Russell County Sheriff John Fletcher, a search warrant was conducted at 7:09 p.m. Thursday at 4283 187th Ave.

A 1968 Chevrolet vehicle with Oklahoma plates and several car parts were recovered.

The investigation is continuing, Fletcher said.

Officers from the Russell and Mitchell County Sheriff’s offices and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation executed the search warrant.
