Storm Fury On The Plains Presentations

Each year, the National Weather Service in Wichita conducts weather and safety presentations across Kansas. Saline County Emergency Management will be hosting the 2015 Storm Fury on the Plains on Wednesday, February 18th 2015 at 6:30pm at the Salina South High School Auditorium. The presentation will begin at 6:30pm and typically lasts 1 ½ to 2 hours.

Attendees are taught the basics of thunderstorm development, storm structure, and what features to look for as well as basic severe weather safety tips. This presentation is an interactive multi-media presentation that is open to all members of the public.
No prior experience is required, and there is no registration necessary to attend! Please join us!
