The Saline County Sheriff’s Department is hosting an Advanced Citizens Academy for Saline county residents.  The class will be held March 31st through May 19th. There are a total of 14 open spots and you must have attended Citizens Academy as a prerequisite.

Advanced Citizens Academy will go over different material including state and local law, active shooter scenarios, field sobriety testing, a use of force judgement simulator and other subjects.

If you would like to attend this class, you can acquire an application at the Saline County Sheriff’s Department or download from their website. Applications must be submitted by 5 PM March 20th.
