The City of Salina Department of Public Works will be repairing a section of pavement east of the intersection of Cloud Street and Ohio Street, starting Monday, June 1.

While crews are working, traffic will be detoured down Parkwood Drive. Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be complete in three to four days.

Southbound Belmont Boulevard will remain closed from Magnolia Road to Robin Road through June 26, 2015 for sewer main construction. Southbound Belmont Boulevard traffic will be detoured at Magnolia Road. Hart Avenue will be closed at Belmont Boulevard.

Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes.

The City of Salina Department of Public Works will street sweep Crawford Street to the north city limits and Ninth Street to the west city limits on June 1 through June 5. Property owners are advised to clear their curbs and gutters, including parked vehicles and large items that may prevent street sweeping from occurring. The area will be rescheduled if inclement weather or mechanical problems prevent sweeping.
