CONCORDIA – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in Cloud County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Kawasaki driven by Harvey L. Blackwood, 57, Belleville, was westbound on K-9 Highway, just west of U.S. 81.

The driver was attempting a left hand curve. The motorcycle left the roadway and overturned.

Blackwood was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Cloud County Health Center and transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, according to the KHP.
