A Salina teen was arrested Monday on two counts of aggravated assault for allegedly pointing a speargun at a man and his son.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 19-year-old Tanner Wheeler was arrested Monday on a warrant in connection with a July 12th incident.

Wheeler is accused of pointing the speargun at 16-year-old Dane Welch and his father 38-year-old Jeremy Welch in their yard at about 10:00 p.m. on the 12th.

Wheeler, who had been in an ongoing dispute with the man and his son, got out of his vehicle, pointed the weapon at both, then got into his vehicle and left.
