Salina Police arrest a 32-year-old man Thursday on a warrant for shoplifting . Benjamin W. Tiller is alleged to have stolen a hand held digital scanner from Radio Shack, 1103 W. Crawford, on August 18th. The scanner was valued at $542.

Video game systems, stereo equipment, and a lawnmower are reported stolen from an unsecured shed. Tanya Shiehzadeh said the items were taken from the shed in the 700 block of N. 2nd, between Tuesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon. Total loss is placed at $4,718.
