Salina Crime Report – February 4th

1-16 crime report 2A Salina man tells police the windshield and back window of his 2012 Chevy pickup were smashed between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday. The pickup, owned by Donald Castle, was parked at Meadowlark Elementary School, 2200 Glen. Total damage is estimated at $500.

Police arrested a man Wednesday in connection with a burglary that occurred last summer. Police were sent to the Budget King Motel, 809 N. Broadway, to arrest 23-year-old Kevin Rivers on outstanding warrants from the Kansas Department of Corrections and Sedgwick County. Rivers was also charged with the August 17th burglary of an apartment where he allegedly stole a PlayStation 4 game console, a PS4 game, and caused $100 damage to a door. In addition to the warrants, Rivers was booked into the Saline County Jail on charges of burglary, theft, and damage to property.
