At least two people were injured in a two vehicle collision Friday evening that left one of the vehicles on its side.

The accident happened at approximately 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Phillips and South Streets. The truck flipped onto its side after being struck by a second truck in the intersection. First responders were seen removing people from the wreckage just moments after the accident.

The Salina Post has learned the two occupants of the truck were both taken to Salina Regional Health Center with minor injuries and later released. There was no immediate information on the condition of the occupants of the second truck.
