Just over 48 hours since the release of the February edition of the Salina’s Most Wanted list, four arrests have already been made.
On Monday, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrests of Caleb Bristow, Michael Perdue, Jacob Pina and LaShinna Smith.
Perdue, who was wanted for theft and making false information, was taken into custody early Saturday evening. In addition to outstanding warrants, he was booked on an additional requested charge of possession of a stimulant.
Bristow, wanted for felony theft and driving while suspended, Pina, wanted for aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and Smith, wanted for criminal use of a financial card and theft, have also been arrested, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Since the inception of the Salina’s Most Wanted program in 2000, more than 2,237 arrests have been made as a direct result of tips generated by the list. As a result of those tips, 332 rewards have been paid out.
