Nearly $2,000 in cash is reported stolen in a business burglary early Monday morning.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said there was no sign of forced entry at Taco John’s, 303 S. Santa Fe. The burglary occurred sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

$1,953 in cash was taken from the restaurant’s safe.
