Another round of rain for central Kansas

rain rain gaugeSALINE COUNTY-Another spring storm provided substantial rainfall to most of central Kansas overnight.

Residents reported just more than an inch of moisture in west central areas of Saline County to approximately .36 of an inch in the southeast part of the county.

McPherson County received from .33 to 1.23 inches of rain.

Ellsworth County reported from .41 to 1.20 inches.

Eastern portions of Lincoln County reported .48 on an inch.

Only .29 inches of moisture was reported in Dickinson County.

The National Weather Service reports showers and thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday afternoon and evening. 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

There is 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on tonight and a 30 percent chance on Wednesday.
