Brian McClendon Filed  to Put his Name on 2018 Election Ballot for KS Secretary of State in Advance of the Candidate Filing Deadline, June 1st

“After years of highly partisan mismanagement and legal distractions, we need a Secretary of State who is committed to helping every eligible Kansas citizen vote and to protecting our private information.

Kansas can be a model for true election integrity. As the state’s chief elections officer, I will use my executive and technology background to help modernize the Secretary of State’s office. Our Secretary should better support Kansas elections rather than creating obstacles to eligible voters. With the right leadership, the Kansas Secretary of State’s office can offer services that are more efficient, more accessible, and fair for all Kansans. Voter registration and engagement can be as efficient and accurate as Google Maps.
