Wednesday evening at 7:34, deputies were called to the 12,000 block of S. Gypsum Valley Rd. for an injury accident.

Sheriff Roger Soldan told The Salina Post that Michael Becker, 68, of Gypsum was driving northbound on Gypsum Valley Rd on his 2007 Arctic Cat when he lost control, left the roadway, and struck the ditch.

A neighbor heard Becker drive by and did not hear him return. He went to check on him and found Becker in the ditch.

Becker was transported by EMS to receive medical care for cuts and a possible head injury. He was not wearing a helmet.
