Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, police were called to 305 W. Schilling Rd. in response to a single vehicle accident.

According to Captain Paul Forrester, Janet Wood, 63, of Salina was pulling in her 2006 Toyota Corolla to Kwik Shop and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, went over the curb, and drove through the glass.

Wood had a small amount of blood coming from her ear and was transported by EMS to seek medical treatment.

No one was injured in the store. The estimated damage is over $1,000.

Wood was cited for driving without insurance.
