Margaret A. “Maggie” Hall, 69, of Salina, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Maggie was a wonderful woman who was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished by her family and friends.
Maggie’s story starts Aug. 11, 1948, the oldest daughter of James L. Sr. and Bessie (Ebbutt) Wildman. She was born in Russell but soon after moved to the family farm at Skiddy, Kan., where she would spend her childhood. She attended St. Xavier Catholic School and White City High School, graduating in 1966. She attended Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia.
Sherm Hall and Maggie were married Sept. 28, 1985. They made their home in Junction City and later moved to Salina. Maggie had two stepsons from this union, Stephen Hall (Sharon), of Rockville, Md., and Michael Hall (Jonna), of Lancaster, Pa.; grandchildren, Stacey, Jonathan, Matthew, Juliann and Josh; and great-grandson, Micah.
Maggie was beloved by her six nephews, Christopher Ohm (Carrie), Matthew LeRoux Ohm (Helena), Joshua Zotti (Jennifer), Travis Zotti (Janie), Collin Wildman and Cole Wildman. Each one has a very special place in his heart for Aunt Maggie as her caring nature and unconditional love never wavered.
Maggie is survived by her loving husband, Sherm, of Salina; siblings, Carol Arjona (Paul), of Junction City, Mary Zotti (Richard), of Oviedo, Fla., and Tim Wildman (Brenda), of Herington; grandnieces and grandnephews, many cousins, and a host of friends because if you ever met Maggie, she was your friend.
She will be greeted in heaven by her parents, grandparents, and niece, Kimberley Wildman.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, where family will be present to greet friends. No additional services are planned.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina, in care of the mortuary.
