Sheriff Roger Soldan gave The Salina Post an update on the antique truck that was reported stolen on May 25.
According to Soldan, the 1972 Chevy was located on Tuesday, May 29 in Hays. There was no damage reported and the keys were inside the truck. The vehicle has been returned to its owner.
On Wednesday, May 25, deputies were called to the 5000 block of N. Solomon Rd to investigate a stolen truck.
Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan told The Salina Post that Morris Rasher, 84, of Solomon reported that his 1972 restored Chevy Cheyenne truck with the Kansas antique plate 237 629 was stolen from his garage. The keys were inside the vehicle.
According to Soldan, the total loss is $20,000. There are no suspects at this time.
