Ivel “Bill” Tackett, 83, of Salina, passed away Saturday June 2, 2018. He was born December 04, 1934 in McDowell, Kentucky.

He worked for The State of Kansas as a Meat Inspector for 25 years. His biggest hobby was going to auctions and collecting antiques.

He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Maudie (Newsome) Tackett.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Janice I. Tackett, 3 brothers, Lonnie Reynolds of Salina, Ks., Troy and Richard Tackett both of Tacoma, WA; and his 4, legged, child Abby.

Visitation will be at, 1:00pm to 2:45pm Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.

Graveside services will be held at Wednesday 2:45pm, June 6, 2018 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
