Salina USD 305 and NEA-Salina completed the first session for negotiations for school year 2018-2019. The first session focused on establishing ground rules for discussion and presenting each team’s proposed changes to the negotiated agreement.

Both teams are hoping the Kansas Supreme Court will issue its ruling in the school funding case (Gannon v. Kansas) before their next meeting. NEA-Salina and the District agree to meet again for more discussion on June 20, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. in the board of education office.
