Salina Parks and Recreation is in need of volunteers to help with the 19th annual Salina Senior Games on August 10 and 11. 

Volunteers are needed for events in the Salina Fieldhouse, 140 N. Fifth, on August 10. Volunteer tasks will include measuring throws and assisting with record keeping. Volunteer shifts are 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 4 p.m.

On August 11, volunteers are needed to help measure and time the track and field events in Salina Stadium near Salina Central High School. The shift for these events is 7 a.m. to noon. 

An overview and training will be provided prior to the start of events. Even if you can only help for part of a shift, Parks an Recreation personnel will do their best to work you into the volunteer schedule.
