The main threat will be very heavy rain with localized flooding, especially in lowland areas. Chance of precipitation today and tonight is 80 percent.

Thunderstorms are likely across the entire area Tuesday through Wednesday. The main hazard will be heavy rainfall with a risk for minor lowland flooding. A locally strong storm will also be possible, mainly Wednesday afternoon across southeast Kansas. Chance for precipitation Tuesday is 70 percent, with a 60 percent chance Tuesday night.
