The First Friday Night Live sponsored event is Herringbone, performing at 7 p.m. in Campbell Plaza, 126 S. Santa Fe, next to Coop’s Pizzeria. Lawn chairs are encouraged and coolers allowed, but no glass bottles are allowed. This event is kid-friendly and admission free.
Led by Taylor Kline and based in the Salina area, Herringbone was established in 2017. The band’s influences range from “old country” such as Merle Haggard, to “jam rock” like the Grateful Dead, all the way to today’s best contemporary music like John Mayer. With a growing catalog of original music, including the 2017 debut album Man That’s Never Alone, and a passion for all guitar-based music, Herringbone is bound to strike a rhythm that hits home.
