This week’s Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honoree is Troy Wilcox of Salina.

Troy served in the United States Marine Corps from 1990-1995. He had attained the rank of corporal by the time he was discharged. While in the Marine Corps, Troy worked as a Harrier jet mechanic.

As for why he chose to serve in the Marine Corps, Troy said, “My grandpa was in the Army. My dad was in the Army. My uncle was in the Air Force. I had always known that I wanted to serve my country. Out of high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I met with a recruiter and liked what I heard.”

Congratulations, Troy, on being selected as this week’s Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honoree! Thank you for your service!
