STERLING – The Swedes men’s and women’s cross country teams competed last weekend at the Sterling College Invite.
The Details
Overall, the Swedes marked seven personal bests, two course bests, and a lifetime best and had two men’s runners place in the top 20. Sophomore, Ajay Dandu, placed 14th marking a lifetime best as well as a course best by over two minutes. Jamall Theodile was the other top 20 runner placing 17th. The men’s team placed fifth at the invite.
“I was very impressed with the improvement this week. We had a nice day to compete against some of the KCAC schools and that really drove us to great times,” said head coach Aaron Yoder.
