This week’s Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honoree is Jonathan Sotomayor of Salina.
Jonathan served in the United States Army from 2008-2011. During that time, Jonathan was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a 19 Kilo Armor Crewman and drove the M1 Abram Battle tank. Jonathan attained the rank of Private First Class.
Jonathan’s mother, Theresa Sotomayor, who nominated him for Salute to Service, said that Jonathan joined the Army because he wanted to serve like his two older brothers Joseph and Thomas. Jonathan now works at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene as a clerk/team leader.
Congratulations, Jonathan, on being selected as this week’s Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honoree! Thank you for your service!
This football season, Comfort Heating and Air thanks all who have served with a Salute to Service. Each week during the NFL regular season, Comfort Heating and Air will salute a member of our military, active duty or veteran.
Make your nomination for Salute to Service here today. Each week, we will recognize a member of our military and put his or her name in a drawing to attend the Chiefs/Raiders game on December 30. Salute to Service brought to you by your friends at Comfort Heating and Air.
