The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has closed Amos Road to through traffic so that a crew can replace a deteriorated crossroad drainage structure with new culvert pipes.

The structure is located approximately 0.8 of a mile south of Rose Hill Road. Work is anticipated to be completed and Amos Road reopened by the end of the workday Friday, weather permitting.

Owners of land along Amos Road between Rose Hill Road and Coronado Heights Road will still be permitted to access their properties but only from the side of the work zone on which their property lies.
