ABILENE — The Abilene Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum Tuesday.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene.
Candidates scheduled to attend include the following.
- Democrat Alan LaPolice and Republican Roger Marshall, for US Congress for the First District of Kansas.
- Republican John Barker and Democrat Jo Schwartz, both of Abilene, who are competing for state representative for the 70th district.
- Lynn Rogers, running as Lt. Gov. for Democrat Laura Kelly, plans to attend and Wink Hartman, running as Lt. Gov for Republican Kris Kobach has also been invited.
- Candidates for the Dickinson County Commission District 1, Democrat Ron Roller, of Woodbine, and Republican Doug Lindahl, of rural Enterprise, also indicated they would attend.
- Republican Scott Schwab and Libertarian Rob Hodgkinson, candidates for secretary of state plan to attend.
